The company also provides alternative investments services, including fund inception consultation, shareholder, administration and accounting, and middle office services; legal services, such as quarterly board meeting, contract management, and regulatory filings; and marketing and creative, medallion distribution, shareholder, transfer agency, and tax administration services. In addition, ALPS Funds Services offers IT solutions, including TAWeb to enable shareholders to transact and view activities in their accounts; an automated administration reporting tool; ALPS virtual access, an online information delivery platform; shareholder data access application to interface with transfer agency system; a selling agreement maintenance system; AdLit, an online project and workflow management system; portfolio data access, an automated fund accounting system; and Fund Numbers to provide a portal for accessing account statement information and communication from the manager. The company was formerly known as ALPS Mutual Funds Services, Inc. and changed its name in August 2006. ALPS Funds Services was founded in 1985 and is based in Denver, Colorado with offices in Boston, New York, Seattle, and Toronto. ALPS Funds Services, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of ALPS Holdings, Inc.
