In addition, the company offers cash management, settlement, leasing, factoring, management information systems consulting, collection and investment banking, clearing, and Internet settlement services, as well as provides business solutions for management issues. Further, it provides money, foreign exchange, securities, and derivative market services; money remittance services for individuals, municipalities, public, and private corporations; securitization services; and derivatives and M&A advisory services; and monetary claim and structured finance trust services. Additionally, the company offers equipment, operating, leveraged, and aircraft leasing services; investment consultation; and administrative services; debt and equity underwriting services; brokerage services; and online financial consulting services. As of March 31, 2014, it operated 439 branches in Japan and 70 offices internationally; 74 SMBC consulting plazas; and 49, 179 ATMs. The company was founded in 1876 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
