American private equity firm TA Associates invests in India-based Atria Convergence Technologies

Boston-headquartered TA Associates has joined Indium V owned Argan to invest $500 million in Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT). India Value Fund III, the current majority shareholder of ACT and other shareholder will be divesting a significant portion of their shareholdings. India Value Fund Advisors is one of India’s largest private equity firms, an advisor to Indium V and a manager of India Value Fund III. ACT and its group companies have one million retail customers, who avail of their wired broadband and cable TV services.
