Chinese e-commerce site Xiu.com gets a $30 million Series C round from Pacific Venture Partners

Private equity and venture capital firm Pacific Venture Partners has led a $30 million Series C round in the Chinese e-commerce platform Xiu.com. Previous investors in the platform including KPCB also participated in this round to take the total fundraising to $150 million. In 2011 KPCB and Warburg Pincus had led a $100 million Series B round in the company, just five months after KPCB closed a $20 million Series A. Xiu.com will use the funds raised to consolidate its international supply chain network and to invest into the project of connecting offline stores in western countries with online shoppers. Xiu.com, which was launched in 2008 offers luxury clothing, cosmetics, bags, jewellery, shoes and other home products for online shoppers.
