An investor consortium led by infrastructure investment fund, Global Infrastructure Partners, has agreed to buy Equis Energy, a Singapore-based developer of renewable-power projects, for US$5 billion including debt, Livemint reported. The other investors participating in the deal include PSP Investments and China’s CIC Capital Corp. Credit Suisse Singapore Ltd and J.P. Morgan acted as financial advisers to Equis Energy on the transaction.
