MarkLogic investment round draws $102 million with Sequoia Capital and other early-stage investors

Sequoia Capital and other early stage investors have helped database platform MarkLogic in a financing round to raise $102 million. The round was led by Wellington Capital Management, with backing from Arrowpoint Partners, Northgate Capital and Tenaya Capital. MarkLogic provides enterprise-level database platform with features including data reliability, transactional consistency and security. The company plans to expand across Europe, Japan and Asia Pacific with the capital.
