OpenGate Capital to acquire Jøtul Group

Private equity firm, OpenGate Capital, has agreed to acquire Jøtul Group, PE Hub reported. The seller is Ratos AB. Financial terms of the transaction were not announced. Jøtul is a manufacturer of cast iron stoves and fireplaces in Norway. It distributes cast iron stoves and fireplaces worldwide. The company’s products are promoted and sold under the ‘Jøtul’ brand.
