PE firm Trinity Hunt Partners, now a majority shareholder in America’s Auto Auction

Dallas-based private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners has bought majority shareholding of wholesale car sales company America’s Auto Auction (AAA). Trinity plans to recapitalise the business and position the company for growth, by partnering with AAA CEO Ben Lange and CFO Dustin Miller, who will remain as shareholders. Besides this, Trinity Hunt Partners has also bought a minority stake in Auction Credit Enterprises (ACE), to provide short-term, asset-backed inventory financing to dealers, who buy auction vehicles.
