Video collaboration services, Blue Jeans Network gets $76.5 million, in a round led by New Enterprise Associates

New Enterprise Associates, the global venture capital firm led a $76.5 million financing round in provider of cloud-based video collaboration services, Blue Jeans Network. New investors included Glynn Capital, Quadrille Capital and former baseball player Derek Jeter along with earlier investors Accel Partners, Battery Ventures and Norwest Venture Partners. The new round brings the total capital raised by Blue Jeans to $175 million since it was founded in 2009. Blue Jeans Network provides a cloud-based video collaboration service that enables video conferencing from almost any device.With the new funds, the company said it will accelerate growth with global market expansion in Europe, Asia and Australia, and support ongoing product innovation.
