Private equity firm Thoma Bravo sells IT solutions provider Sirius Computer Solutions to buyout house Kelso & Co.

American private equity firm Thoma Bravo has sold its IT solutions provider Sirius Computer Solutions to the buyout house Kelso & Company, which will acquire an equity interest in Sirius from Thoma Bravo and Harvey Najim, the company’s founder. Thoma Bravo invested in Sirius back in 2006, allowing it to invest in a growth strategy, which in turn increased revenue from $600 million annual in 2006 to an expected $1.6 billion in 2015. Thoma Bravo also recently agreed to buy a majority stake in private equity-backed healthcare analytics business MedeAnalytics, while New York-based Kelso & Co was reported to be in advanced discussions to acquire US LBM Holdings.
